After returning to Ljubljana, we caught a van that transfered us up north to Jezersko, where we will start out hike tomorrow.
On the way back, we saw what is unfortunately common to see in Europe, some "stumbling stones." They commemorate the last known living place of Jewish residents from World War II.
Our route for the day.
The caves involved a 2 mile walk and 800 steps, which was quite strenuous. Pictures were not allowed (until the end of the hike). It was quite fantastic with a river running through the caves. One of the caverns was 100 meters, over 300 feet high.
Looking back at one of the caves.

Our driver into the mountains, was a very charming Slovenian woman. She told us lots of things about the country and what it was like to live here. With a smile on her face, she told us to keep Slovenia a secret and not tell people how nice it is here.
